Saturday witnessed an atmosphere of jubilation as OYDC Zambia played host to several institutions commemorating the 9th ZUFIAW Annual Sports Festival. These institutions participated heavily in a variety of sports, including football, netball, chess, athletics, pool, tug of war, and more. The spirit of competition and camaraderie filled the air as athletes showcased their best in their respective disciplines. The two-day event is set to conclude today, Sunday, where the top-performing institutions across various sports categories will be honoured with trophies and medals. This annual sports festival serves as a platform for fostering sportsmanship, healthy competition, and community engagement. Various stakeholders, such as the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ), ABSA, Standard Chartered, and First Capital Bank, turned up for the great event, which will come to a halt today.
