Simon Zulu was in action yesterday as he started his round 2 fight -60 kilograms against Georgian Sardalashvili Giorgi but eventually lost as he was given a third shido (penalty). Steven Mung'andu was on the tatami early today as he fought against Agamammedov Hekim of Turkmenistan 🇹🇲 in the -66 kilograms round one, the fight went to a golden score but Mung'andu lost with a wizard. Judo Association of Zambia president, Alfred Foloko and General Secretary Mabvuto Ng'uni joined the boys at the tournament to offer solidarity after taking part in a meeting in Qatar. Despite not progressing to the quarter-finals, the association is happy for the Judokas who represented the country and hopes for the best in the next world tournament. Photo Credit-IJF
