The Pool Union of Zambia appointed Bongani Maano as the new Ladies National pool team coach on the 26th March 2023. The Zambia Pool Union(ZPU) has extended its gratitude for the appointed and classifies him as being equal to the task. This is due to Bongani dedication towards the team in past years. Speaking in an interview with Zed Sport, ZPU General Secretary Tesfa Dimmissie Shinkombwe has said that the appointment has come at the right time when the Union’s performance at the just-ended National Sports Council Awards was excellent in two categories. Mr. Shinkombwe Further disclosed that Maano’s appointment does not mean that he will be superior to other executive members, but there will be teamwork amongst everyone to ensure that there are good results and teamwork for the Ladies National Team. photo: ZPU
