The Zambia Hockey Association (ZHA) has commenced the development of a comprehensive 5-year strategic plan, backed by the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ). This plan is envisioned as a guiding roadmap to propel the growth and advancement of hockey across the nation. NOCZ Secretary General Boniface Kambikambi inaugurated the two-day workshop earlier today, where Hazel Kennedy, Vice President of NOCZ and President of ZHA, and other association representatives actively participated. Overseeing the workshop is Charles Ziwa, ensuring that all vital aspects and perspectives are meticulously considered during the strategic planning process. Through this initiative, ZHA aims to establish a solid and progressive foundation for the sport, fostering its growth, and enhancing its reputation both at the national and international levels. With the involvement of key stakeholders and a clear strategic vision, they aspire to elevate hockey in Zambia to unprecedented heights in the years to come.
