The Zambia Women's Hockey Team has made history by qualifying for their first-ever World Cup competition, which will be hosted in Muscat, Oman's capital, from 24-27 January 2024. The Zambia Hockey Association has openly requested financial support from well-wishers and stakeholders to assist with the logistics of the upcoming camps in 2024. "With every single donation, we can make this dream a reality for the girls. Please support them with any amount of money, which will be used for logistical preparations and the success of the World Cup," said the Zambia Hockey Association. Meanwhile, the Zambia Men's Hockey Team has been placed in Group B for the Paris 2024 Olympic Qualifiers, alongside Egypt, Ghana, and Kenya. The women's team will be competing against Ghana, Kenya, and Namibia in the group stages and will also require support for their logistical needs.
