Red Arrows
Yesterday, 27th May 2023, the EaglesNest in Kabwe hosted a series of Rugby battles which were a curtain raiser for the much anticipated Military Derby for both ladies and gents for Green Eagles and Red Arrows. Green Eagles men suffered a 33-3 defeat against Red Arrows who were skillful and made thunderous attacks on Eagles. Eagles men had their props( players wearing Jersey 1 and 3) defeated with less support to the hooker and caused a scrum(means of restarting play after a stoppage which has been caused by a minor infringement of the Laws). The props provide the main power in the push forward in the scrum. For this reason, they need to be exceptionally big and strong but it was not the case with Green Eagles men. Before the men gathered, Green Eagles women battled the Red Arrows side and lost 27-17 after taking a lead of 10-5 at halfway of play.
