Yesterday evening, the National Olympic Committee of Zambia had the privilege of attending the Zambia Rugby Union's media launch for the Rugby Africa Women's Seven Pre-Qualifiers. This event marks the beginning of the journey towards the competition, which will take place in Lusaka, Zambia on July 1st and 2nd, 2023. Ten countries, including Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, DR Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Mauritius, Senegal, Zimbabwe, and the host nation Zambia, will fly to Zambia and compete for a chance to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifying tournament set to be hosted in Tunisia. NOCZ has extended its best wishes to Team Zambia as they embark on this exciting endeavor.
