Saturday, 27th May 2023, saw the battle of Red Arrows Rugby Club and Lions Club fight for the Championship with both having hope to play the final. The much-anticipated game finished 8-7 in favor of the Red Arrows as they await to play the final on the announced date to be set by the organizers. In an interview with Zed Sport Yesterday, Mukango Rugby Youth Championship Project Director Akim Kabemba said that there is a tie between Red Arrows and Chibolya because they both have eleven points. "We have one more final game left, Chibolya stands at 11 points and Red Arrows also stands at 11 points, the game is likely to take on next month at a venue we will confirm with the masses," Mr. Ackim disclosed. Mr. Kabemba further said that the management is looking into engaging different stakeholders and the media to strengthen the capacity of the Championship. June is the month set for the Mukango Rugby Youth Championship grand finale as we await for the actual date to be confirmed. Congratulations Arrows as we await the final match.
