Munali Suns extended their impressive streak after defeating Red Arrows 75-69 in a Week 16 fixture at the National Sports Development Centre in Lusaka. The Suns, currently leading, have amassed 29 points, tying with the Green Buffaloes in second place, who narrowly triumphed over the Lusaka City Council Looters 72-71. The Napsa Hurricanes follow in third with 27 points, while Matero Magic holds the fourth position with 26 points. In other matches, Magic dominated the University of Zambia Pacers with a 97-50 score, while the Hawks narrowly bested the Huskies 77-74. Additionally, Matero Warriors secured a convincing 75-53 victory against the Bulldogs. Coach Conrad Musonda of the Suns praised his players for their spirited performance, expressing how proud he was of the hard work they had to put in to win. He commended them for considering their loss in the second quarter as a stepping stone.
