Floyd Chomba, the coach of the Golden Girls, has revealed a provisional squad consisting of 16 members in preparation for the upcoming Women's Hockey 5s World Cup scheduled to take place from January 24 to 27, 2024, in Muscat, Oman. Zambia has been drawn in Group B, where they will face tough competitors such as Australia, South Africa, and Ukraine. The team's journey begins on January 24 with a match against South Africa. Preparations for the event are set to commence on November 18 at the Olympic Youth Development Center (OYDC) in Lusaka. The final squad of 10 players is anticipated to be announced in early December.
