Zambia Golf Union (ZGU) will send a team of four amateur golfers to participate in the Region Five Championship set for May 15 to 20 in Lilongwe, Malawi. The team comprises Bwembya Chanda from Chibulumba, Green Buffaloes Stalian Daka, Dominic Chanda, and Michael Chuma, both from Nkana Golf Club. Mwango Mukuka was part of the junior team that emerged third at the Africa Junior Championship in Uganda last month. ZGU president Greg Lubesha is optimistic the quartet will perform to expectation in Malawi. Lubesha said in an interview that the performance of the junior team in Uganda is evidence that the sport is growing. "We are sending a team of amateur golfers to Malawi.
