As we close the curtain on the Fukuoka, Japan World Champs, please join us in applauding and sharing the love for Zambia's very best! Coach Ian Stephenson tells us it truly was one of the most exhilarating, exciting, and entertaining meets he's ever had the pleasure, privilege, and honor of being a coach. Our Zambian swimmers were resplendent in their national flamboyant colors, full of courage and class in the pool. From fighting fifths to solid seconds, in heat wins, personal bests galore, not forgetting National Records and outstanding performances. It truly was a success for everyone involved! The lessons we take away will help us grow. These swimmers reinforce that nothing is ever given to you. So once again, take a bow Zach "Rrrrrrraymooondo" Moyo, our breaststroke boss! You too Damien "D-boy" Shamambo, our sprint king! Last but not least, Mia "Pocket Rocket" Phiri, Zambia's fastest woman! You were all great ambassadors of our beautiful country! You should all be proud of your efforts! We salute you.
