Today, 27th May 2023, the EaglesNest in Kabwe will host a series of Rugby battles that will act as curtain raisers for the much anticipated Military Derby for both ladies and gents for Green Eagles and Red Arrows. With Gates opening at 10:00hrs to kick start the Kabwe Developmental Youth Rugby League which will act as intros to the derby, Mulungushi Rugby will battle Nkrumah University Rugby Team whereas Diehard Rugby Youth Academy plays Green eagles rugby club B-side. Later on in the afternoon at 13:00hrs, patrons and other spectators will gather to watch the Ladies League between Green Eagles Women Rugby vs Red Arrows Ladies Rugby Club before the final derby. 15:00hrs is set for the final set of the military Derby as Green Eagles Rugby Club faces off against Red Arrows "air wolves" Rugby Club with much skills, rivalry and so much talent to watch.
