A 28-Member under-20 national team is today expected to leave for Nairobi, Kenya, for the Barthes Trophy kicking off on Saturday, with coach Reuben Mkandawire confident of delivering success. Mkandawire said that the players are in high spirits and ready to make the country proud. Rueben said that despite being in camp for five days, the players have shown competitiveness and are ready to make the team proud. The Barthes Trophy will run from Saturday to April 30. Zambia faces Namibia on Saturday in the quarter-finals at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi. "We have selected the best 28 players who are going to deliver in Nairobi. We leave tomorrow (today) and the morale is very encouraging," Mkandawire disclosed in an interview yesterday after a training session. He also expressed confidence that they'll beat Namibia. "We have trained with Namibia before and we know them very well. Our Focus is to win this match as it will build our confidence going forward," Mkandawire added.
