Red Arrows have also geared up for this week's battle to fight for the top position with the mighty Munali, who will also feature in the African Basketball Championships. In the previous week, Midlands Basketball Association (MBA) defending champions Munali Suns got back to winning ways, demolishing Lusaka City Council Looters 93-45 in a Week 15 fixture at the National Sports Development Centre in Lusaka. Matero Magic sits in fourth position with 24 points. The Suns got the early lead through Harrison Banda as the Looters failed to handle their fast passing, and won the first quarter 21-11. The second quarter was no different, with Travis Ndama, Jason Siazilo, Chipo Musongo, and Band taking the game to the Looters. Suns deservedly led 42-17 at halftime. With the Looters on the back foot, the Suns won 67-30 in the third quarter. The Suns pressed on the pedal in the last quarter and won 93-45.
