This morning, the 28-Member under-20 national team has today arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, for the Barthes Trophy which will kick off on Saturday. Coach Rueben Mkandawire has said that the players are in high spirits and ready to make the country proud. 21st April 2023, Rueben has said that he hopes his players put up a good performance because they have shown competitiveness and are ready to make the team proud. The Barthes Trophy in Kenya will run from Saturday 22nd to the 30th of April in Nairobi. "We have selected the best 28 players who are going to deliver in Nairobi. We leave tomorrow (today) and the morale is very encouraging," Mkandawire disclosed in an interview yesterday after a training session. He also expressed confidence that they'll beat Namibia. "We have trained with Namibia before and we know them very well. Our Focus is to win this match as it will build our confidence going forward," Mkandawire added.
