They shall not faint halfway through the Marathon: Who do you feel will fulfill this winning commandment? Today, 27th May 2023, Over 1,000 Athletes registered to participate in the annual Kansanshi Marathon scheduled in Solwezi which will is currently on till this afternoon. The marathon has attracted athletes from within the country, Lusaka, Kitwe, Ndola, Kabwe as well as Zimbabwe and South Africa who have also sent some Athletes to compete. The Kansanshi Marathon is aimed at promoting good health and fitness in Solwezi. The Winner of the Full Marathon will walk away with 42,000 Kwacha, while the second will walk away with 21,000 Kwacha. The third-placed athlete will be given 14, 000 Kwacha and the fourth will walk away with 8,000 Kwacha. Different Athletes are running not only for good health promotion but also for Prizes.
