Zambian sprinter Muzala Samukonga, renowned for his remarkable finishes on the track, is gearing up for his second participation in the prestigious Diamond League. The upcoming event, scheduled to take place in Poland, holds great anticipation for Samukonga and his fans. Despite recovering from any potential injuries sustained in his previous competition, Samukonga expressed his readiness to take on the track in Poland and bring glory to his homeland. In a recent social media post, he conveyed his determination and excitement: "Despite still recovering from injuries, I am getting back on track this Sunday after winning the Golden Spike in the Czech Republic." This Sunday, on the 16th of July, Samukonga will mark his third meet as he continues his training base in Germany, preparing for the world championship. His second Diamond League appearance will be held in Silesia, Poland. Following that, his final meet before the world championship will be the PTS MEET on July 20th, where he will compete in the 200m event in the Czech Republic. The journey toward the world championship may be arduous and filled with twists and turns, but Samukonga remains determined to reach his destination safely and successfully.
