Boxing thrills and spills return to Kabwe when the Zambia Boxing Federation (ZBF) in conjunction with Chiteule Boxing Academy hosts the seventh edition of the Charm 'Shuffle' Chiteule Memorial boxing tournament at the Kabwe Mall this weekend. ZBF president Dan Chiteule has said that the competition will attract boxers from Tanzania and DR Congo estimating about 100 boxers in total expected to compete for honours on June 3 and 4. Chiteule has added that the stable had a deficit of K30,000 to successfully stage the event and called on well-wishers and companies who are willing to support the noble cause. "It's a national event just like the years past but we expect it to be bigger this year. All the provinces have confirmed participation. We are anticipating a large turnout this weekend knowing that it's been a while since we staged a boxing tournament here in Kabwe," Chiteule said. Mr. Dan has added that the competition will continue to be good exposure for Zambian boxers as they fight foreign competitors to prepare for their various international engagements. Most local fighters have been training excessively to ensure that they carry the home title over this weekend.
