Zambian Fitness Athlete, Fanwell Musumali has become the first Zambian to win gold at the Bloem Classic 2023 in the men’s physically challenged category. Musumali is also expected to represent Zambia at the International Fitness Championship in Japan later this year with the hope of making the nation proud. The Bloem Classic 2023 which has ended today, was used as a qualifier for the Japan Championship and Musumali finished first at the recent event in South Africa. In an interview, Funwell said that his qualification for international events is an indication that physically challenged athletes can raise the country’s flag. Moses Makoi who is Zambia's World Fitness Federation National Coordinator is pleased with the performance and disclosed that the medical team has continued to monitor Musumali’s diet to keep him in shape before the Japan tournament. #ZambiaKuchalo Photo Credit-Moses M
