Muzala Samukonga will this Thursday race in the Diamond League where Zambia last took part in 1992 and 1993 respectively, by Kennedy, Matete, and Sydney. Zambia's First appearance in the diamond league was led by Coach Douglas in 800m and Samuel Matete in 400m who competed for two years from 1992-1993, thereafter followed by Sydney Siame in the year 2019 where he competed in the men's 200m, and the last Zambian athlete to appear at the diamond league was Kennedy Luchembe who competed in men's 400m in the year 2020. Following Muzala's performance at the junior championship up to date, Samukonga has been invited to compete in the diamond league this Thursday which will be in Oslo, Norway. The Diamond League is so much competitive and it will feature the best commonwealth Athletes around the world such as holder Wayde van Niekerk in 400m with a time of 43.03s. This will be a meet that will again help me prepare for the world championship later this year as I will be competing with athletes who have had an experience of the world championship and the diamond league over the years. Let us shine some candle lights on Muzala as he sets his feet on yet another World Breaking record challenge. #ZambiaKuchalo #Muzala
