29th April 2023, Zambia multi-award winning athlete, Rhoda Njobvu was one of the participants in Botswana at the just-ended FNB Grand Pix. Njobvu's hard work and dedication have paid off after winning yet another gold medal in the Women's 400m B-race at the 2023 Botswana Golden Grand Prix, a World Athletics Continental Tour Gold. Rhoda Clocked an impressive time of 51.96s, she beat out tough competition to claim the top spot on the podium and is also set to bring the trophy back home. This recent victory comes just days after Njobvu secured another gold medal in the ASA Athletics Grand Prix continental tour challenge, where she set a new personal best time of 52.25 seconds, switching from her previous events of 100m and 200m.
