The Zambia 🇿🇲 U18 Baseball team yesterday recorded one loss against Tunisia but recovered in good time to bounce back to winning ways after seeing off Tanzania 2-1 at the ongoing African Championship in Ghana. The Zambia U18 Baseball5 Team has had an impressive performance at the ongoing Baseball5 Youth African Championship in Ghana despite having a loss against Tunisia yesterday. They have now secured a total of three victories in the four games played so far. This championship serves as a qualification tournament for the inaugural WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup. Meanwhile, four national teams have already secured their spots in the WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup. France emerged as the winner of the first European Championship in November 2022 by defeating Türkiye in the final. Chinese Taipei claimed victory in the Youth Baseball5 Asia Cup held in February, while China and Korea secured qualification as the runner-up and third-place finisher, respectively.
