Lopez Punch night is scheduled for 10th June at the Government Complex center where Zambia hosts only local fighters but will also host three (3) from Malawi. Exodus Boxing Academy has disclosed that k300, 000 is the amount of money needed to host a successful fight night which will also feature Malawi. Exodus Boxing Academy Director Christian Kalima disclosed that some money had been raised to meet the expected target for all logistics involved in a successful host. Kalima said that three title fights will take place on the night with Simon Ngoma who is commonly known as 'Tyola Mabmbo' (break the rib) fighting against Bernard Sepe who also comes from Balotse Boxing Academy to headline the night. In an interview with Zed Sport this morning, Exodus Boxing Academy Director Mr. Kalima Christian said that the Academy will host another press briefing Friday, 9th June to update the nation on how much has been raised and give guidelines for the Saturday launch of the Lopez punch. Mr. Kalima has added that local fighters have intensified their training ahead of the fight night and are still engaging different stakeholders to come on board for sponsorship.
