Zambia Wushu Kungfu Federation is the governing body of all Kungfu clubs in Zambia and seeks to take the Zambian sport to another level. 16th to 17th December this year is set for the Africa Kungfu Championship which will attract over 20 countries in Africa depending on the available resources that will be there. In an interview with Zed Sport Yesterday, Wushu Federation said that they hope to host pre-qualifiers for the local clubs by September this year. Further, the Federation cited some of the local clubs as Liyayi Police Camp, Mandevu, Chipata, and Matero Kungfu clubs as part of the clubs that are going to take part in the September pre-qualifiers. "All clubs will come up with different fundraising ventures to ensure that we raise the needed money for hosting the championship this September for the incoming Africa Kungfu Championship to be locally hosted in Zambia," Wushu Federation disclosed. Zambia Wushu Kungfu Federation is committed to this big Championship which will attract more than 20 countries and will reach out to different stakeholders such as the Ministry of Sports, the Zambia Police, the Zambia army, and other Officials.
