26th April 2023, National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) President, Alfred Foloko was among the delegates from various African countries attending the official opening of the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) Congress in Zambia. The congress, which was inaugurated by Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts Hon. Elvis Nkandu MP, had in attendance World Athletics President Sebastian Coe, CAA President Hamad Kalkaba Malboum, and Zambia Athletics President Elias Mpondela. The congress is being held ahead of the 2023 U18/20 CAA Championships, which Zambia is hosting in Ndola from 28 April to 3 May 2023. The championships will feature 54 participating countries. Meanwhile, Zambia Beach Games Mission, Mutale Masala yesterday joined other heads of mission across Africa in Tunisia ahead of the Hammamet 2023 African Beach Games. The beach games will be hosted in Hammamet City in Tunisia and will be the second edition of the games to be hosted from 24th to 30th June 2023. Photo Credit- NOCZ
