OYDC Zambia today hosted various financial institutions that participated in the 2023 Bankers Sports Day. The colorful event was graced by Minister of Youth, Sport, and Arts Hon. Elvis Nkandu MP, who encouraged the bankers to prioritize sports as a way of protecting themselves from non-communicable diseases (NDC) and other lifestyle diseases. Energetic OYDC Zambia Chief Executive Officer Dr. Fredrick Chitangala, was also present at the prestigious sporting event to witness and appreciate the role financial institutions play in the promotion of sports both at a corporate and national level. With stands of different banking brands being displayed in the early hours of today, many banking Officials including the Minister of sports participated in different Sporting activities such as Football and Athletics. Different banks that took part included ABSA, ZANACO, FNB, and Investrust Bank with representatives who took up the challenge of participating in the sports activities.
