Wednesday, 10th May 2023, Africa and Zambia’s strongest man Gift Habeenzu said he is targeting to qualify for the 2023 Arnold Classic international competition from the Arnold Classic continental competition. This year's Competition tagged the 2022 Novice Championship which will run from 19th to 20th May 2023 will act as a qualifier for the Arnold classic world championship which is scheduled to take place in South Africa later this year. After his novice and African win, Zambia’s strongman will now be competing in the higher professional categories category with the hope of breaking his record and making the nation proud. Gift later disclosed that he is confident that he will deliver good results at the competition because of the training commitment he is making. Habeenzu has however admitted that the competition will be stiff as he will be participating in the professional category for the first time. Gift who won the Zambia strongman championship with a record settler in the under n 105kg category is looking forward to the Novice Championship to start later this month. Photo Credit-Habeenzu
