Zambian talent Richard Ngoma, born in 2004, has signed a significant four-year deal with Maccabi Netanya from the Israeli Premier League. The left-footed winger has previously represented Zambia in the U17 and U20 national teams. Before securing this permanent contract, Richard was on a season-long loan from Athletico Lusaka to Israel, where he played in the U19 league. Impressed by his performance, Maccabi Netanya decided to acquire him from Zambia. Maccabi Netanya holds a prominent position in Israeli football, and Richard will be the second Zambian player to wear their colors, following in the footsteps of Lameck Banda, who spent a season with the club. The deal was successfully brokered by FIFA agent Nir Karin. Upon signing, Richard expressed his elation, saying, "I’m very, very happy to sign my first international professional contract and can’t wait to start. I want to thank Mauro Sanna and Athletico Lusaka for all they've taught me. I will be their representative abroad. I will miss them, but it’s my time to embrace the next challenge. It’s my time now to work on the pitch and do my job."
