The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) has today extended its heartfelt congratulations to all the swimmers for being selected to represent the country at the CANA ZONE 4 Swimming Championships in Luanda, Angola. This was during the briefing that the swimmers before they left for Angola, the Athletes have gone to showcase the best of their preparations ahead of the races and hoped to mint some medals. "We believe that you have what it takes to achieve success, and we are proud to have you as ambassadors for our country. We have every confidence that you will do your best, and we are eagerly anticipating your performance," the NOCZ representative said. Swimmers taking part in the CANA annual Swimming Championships are Damien Shamanbo, Wina Mwamba, Sibongile Miti, Mphatso Banda, Ayanna Desai, Natania Chama, Kaizer Munthali, O'Jay Kaumba, Winnie Mbewe, Inutu Kawesha, Tamenji Miti, Benaiah Mbao, Zoah Cooney, Tonderai Mazikana, Mudenda Syamujaye, Aaryan Desai, Giacinto Caraldu, Joshua Mulenga, Seth Gomes, Nandipa Moyo, and your coaches, Adrian Sikaonga and Matthew Shone. The Championships which will attract different Athletes will kickstart on 3rd to 7th May 2023 in Luanda, Angola. This annual Championship is contested by the 14 countries: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia Seychelles, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe in the regional Zone and represents the most prestigious regional swimming event of the calendar.
