Lusaka Playhouse was the center of musclemen on Saturday, June 3 during which 14 competitors flexed their muscles to outscore each other for the prestigious title of Mr. Ironman Zambia. The competition which ended in the early hours of June 4 saw a surprise winner by the name of William Sichone Tag (32) who defied the old to win the hearts of the judges against the crowd favorites of Jack Power and Musonda Mutale. Emmanuel Nkonde was the runners up to Sichone while Jack Power could only finish third. People's favorite Musonda Mutale from Copperbelt finished fourth ahead of Misheck Silungwe Completing the top 6 list was Kabs. Other participants were Moya Hatembo, Graham Munyamammena, Paul Chisenga, Martin Chinyama, David Mwamba, Isaac Ripped, Chimwemwe Banda, and Ignicias Change. Zambia body building Federation has therefore pledged to continue organizing such events to ensure that they develop the Sport in the country.
