Only a few days after Zambia's host ship of the Junior Athletic Championships which took place at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia athletic association (ZA) president, Elias Mpondela echoes ZA's passion for hosting the senior athletics championship next year. ZA top lead, Elias Mpondela said that the Association will bid to host the next senior athletics championship due to this year's experience. During an interview, Elias said that Zambia did well in hosting the junior Championship despite limited time and resources to prepare. Friday, 6th May 2023, Mpondela told the media that a lot of federations reached out to ZA to commend the team for the organization of the Under 18 and 20 athletics championships. Photo Credit-ZA
