Malawi-based chess organization, Gift of Chess, has partnered with Common Well-being, an organization that has been actively donating to the country. The partnership was announced on September 22, 2023, and includes the appointment of a Zambian Ambassador. The event, which was attended by Common Well-being Coordinator and Gift of Chess Ambassador Prosper Musemvu, aims to not only provide necessary resources but also prioritize the mental well-being of chess players. "As we continue to impact the lives of thousands of Zambians, we are willing to collaborate and partner with any individual or organization that is willing to work with us, allowing us to continue making a difference," Prosper said on his official Facebook page. Gift of Chess is open to collaborating with various stakeholders and individuals interested in chess. They have been working with prisons, schools, and individuals, among others.
