Zambia U-18 Baseball National team has intensified their preparations ahead of the Africa Continental qualifiers set for Ghana on 17th May 2023. Ghana is the defending champion with eight other countries taking part in the tournament including Benin, Tunisia, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Uganda Tanzania, and Zambia. 7days remaining to the kick-off have seen some other countries as well with intensified training sessions with the hope of winning the tournament. Ghana Baseball and Softball Federation president, Ernest Danso has disclosed that Ghana is ready for the hostship with all the preparations being 100% done. Danso said that Ghana is looking forward to hosting this year’s tournament as they also aim to defend the trophy. “We have only a few days left until the Africa Championship Cape Coast May 2023 takes off and we are looking forward to hosting different countries. Feel free and feel at home as you come for the tournament,” He said via a Facebook podcast. 📷ZBHA
