Latest Log Standings after yesterday’s Match-day three of the ongoing Baseball5 African Championships in Ghana. Zambia yesterday recorded their fourth victory in five games played so far and continues to sit second on the table. After the round-robin tournament is completed, the top four in the standings will play in the semifinals as they prepare to qualify for incoming games. The two finalists automatically qualify for the 2023 Baseball5 U18 World Cup to be played later this year. Meanwhile, the other four national teams have already secured their spots in the WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup. France emerged as the winner of the first European Championship in November 2022 by defeating Türkiye in the final. Chinese Taipei claimed victory in the Youth Baseball5 Asia Cup held in February, while China and Korea secured qualification as the runner-up and third-place finisher, respectively.
