On 14th April, the Olympic Youth Development Center (OYDC) Zambia recently launched its 2023 to 2028 Strategic Plan whose main focus is investing in facilities to support high-performance sports. Launching the strategic plan, OYDC Zambia Board of Trustees Chairperson Simangolwa Shakalima expressed hope that the new strategic plan, spanning from 2023 to 2028, and aimed to invest in top-notch facilities to support high-performance sports will help many young talented athletes fulfill their sporting dreams. 22nd April 2023, OYDC Zambia management led by the Chief Executive Officer Dr. Fredrick Chitangala, has presented the recently launched five-year strategic plan to the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) executive during the Annual General Meeting. Receiving the strategic plan and annual report for the year 2022, NOCZ president Alfred Foloko, thanked the Sports Association of Zambia to support the management to ensure that they engage the OYDC Board of Trustees whenever there are matters of urgency to be addressed.
