Zambian swimmers continue to give their all on day 3 of CANA in Angola after minting more medals to the table since day one. Joshua Mulenga bagged the first medal of the day, a bronze in the 400m freestyle after a tough race. Tamenji Miti also got a bronze in the next event of the day the 100m butterfly after a tough race with the first swimmer who bagged the Gold medal. In the afternoon session, Sibongile Miti rode the momentum and got a bronze in the 50m backstroke. She didn’t stop there and scooped a silver in the 100m breaststroke and another silver medal in the 50m freestyle. Wana Kaumba also put his name down as a medal winner, swimming to a sensational silver in the boy's 12 under 100m breaststroke. Damien Shamambo stepped up and swum to a silver medal in the 17 & over boys 50m freestyle after putting up a massive race. The faster masters who performed exceptionally well on day 1 by winning some Gold medals also minted more: Sophie Peach won another gold in 100m breaststroke, Urshlla Gomes bagged gold in 50m freestyle and Matthew Shone got gold on the 50m freestyle.
