President Hakainde Hichilema has honored Commonwealth 400 meters gold medalist Muzala Samukonga with the President’s Insignia of Meritorious Achievement. Muzala has been honored for his outstanding achievements in the sport that have attracted recognition for Zambia in the World. Samukonga was honored during the Africa Day Investiture Ceremony at State House yesterday. Muzala has lifted the Zambian flag by winning the Kape Keino classic continental tour which was held in Kenya on Saturday, 13th May 2023. Last month, he also broke another record at the Botwsana Grand Prix FNB tournament. Congratulations young king.
