The Chipolopolo Captain, Lubambo Musonda, is confident that Zambia will pick up a positive result against Uganda on Thursday, 17th October 2023. “I think the team is in good spirits after our last game played against Egypt. It was a good friendly for us, and we learned a lot from it. We are looking forward to using what we learned in the next game,” said Lubambo. Speaking to the media ahead of Thursday’s clash against the Cranes of Uganda, the captain was very optimistic that the boys have worked on the weaknesses spotted against Egypt. “The team is learning every time, and whatever we did wrong in the last match, I am sure there will be a change. We worked on it in training, and we are looking forward to that,” Lubambo Musonda further added after being asked if he thinks the team had worked on some of the weaknesses spotted in the game against Egypt. The Chipolopolo boys take on Uganda on Thursday in an international friendly match. Kick-off time is at 17:00hrs local time.
