Speaking ahead of their upcoming match, Zambia midfielder Kelvin Kampamba expressed confidence in the team's morale, stating, "The morale in camp is high because of what happened yesterday. We got the three points which were well-deserved, and everyone is happy." Having clinched the title last year, Kampamba acknowledged the fans' expectations, adding, "They expect us to do more and defend the title." To secure a spot in the tournament's semifinals, Zambia will need to defeat Seychelles convincingly in their final group match. Kampamba emphasized the importance of not underestimating the opponent, saying, "The most important thing is not to underestimate any team.
