Zambia's hopes of qualifying for the COSAFA Cup semifinals were revived yesterday after a 2-1 win over Comoros in their Group B second match. The win moved Zambia to third on the log with three points, level with second-place Comoros and three points behind leaders Malawi. Speaking ahead of tomorrow's game, Zambia coach Moses Sichone said, "We will just adjust the boys and the mindset. I'm sure the game against Seychelles won't be easy, but we will try to prepare well for the game. We won't look at the table going into the game; we will just aim to win the game and hope to score a lot of goals." Zambia will need to beat Seychelles with a larger margin in their final group match tomorrow to sneak into the semifinals of the tournament. Only the group winners from the three groups are guaranteed a place in the semifinals, with the best-ranked runner-up also joining them. Sichone added, "We have to win, no doubt about that. I'm sure everyone knows the situation, so the mindset has to be different along with the game approach. After losing the first game, I was happy with the performance in the second game. Great performance, hoping for the same tomorrow."
