The Green Buffaloes Judo Club emerged victorious in the Japanese Ambassadors Judo tournament held at the Olympic Youth Development Centre. The Green Eagles secured second place, with the Nkwazi Judo Club taking third place. In the individual awards category, Gilbert Kanyanta was honored as the Best Male Judoka, and Susan Nawakwi received the title of Best Female Judoka. Notable attendees at the event included His Excellency, Japanese Ambassador to Zambia Takeuchi Kazuyuki, Mr. Raphael Mulenga, Acting GS National Sports Council of Zambia (representing the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Kangwa Chileshe), and Judo/National Olympic Committee of Zambia President Alfred Foloko. The overall results were as follows: 1. Green Buffaloes - 78 points 2. Green Eagles - 34 points 3. Nkwazi - 25 points 4. Red Arrows - 20 points 5. Maykwayukwa - 13 points
